Strategic Planning Workshop
HIGHLIGHT
In May 2010, the Poplar Council of Canada hosted
a Strategic Planning Workshop in Edmonton, Alberta. The intent
was to develop a new set of strategic targets for PCC over the
next 3-5 years.
The extremely productive 2-day workshop identified
projects and activities in 6 key areas:
- Bio-energy
- Carbon credits
- Genetics and breeding
- Environmental services
- Production and stand health risks
- Communication/Education/Membership
A 2-page summary of the outcomes of the workshop
has been released by the Poplar Council and is available in English
and French.
