The Canadian national report prepared for
IPC-2008 and published by the Poplar Council of Canada,
contains the most recent statistical, technical and organizational
information about poplar and willow cultivation and utilization
in Canada, including a separate complete list of recent Canadian
literature references. The report was prepared for the 23rd Session
of the International Poplar Commission held in Beijing, China
in November 2008. IPC is a subsidiary body of the Food and Agriculture
Organization (FAO) of the United Nations.
